Each Child a Light Exhibition. 9am-7pm, Upper Gallery, OPW

From 12 – 14 June, Each Child a Light is working in partnership with the Centre for Migration and Forced Displacement to present an exhibition of the quilt alongside a programme of events at The Old Print Works.

Inspired by radical traditions of quilting and fabric arts, Each Child a Light aims to make visible the scale of the ongoing atrocity in Gaza, creating a space to mark, to mourn and to bear witness. Stitching each child’s name is an act of solidarity, of remembrance, mourning, and kinship – and importantly, counters erasure. In collaboration, and square by square, our quilt will create an essential record and lasting memorial to so many young lives lost. Together we will remember.
