ChangeKitchen CIC is really excited to be attending this month’s Balsall Heath Second Saturday! We’re an award-winning catering social enterprise and a kindness cafe based in Balsall Heath, beginning our journey of social impact, food justice, improving life opportunities and cooking up delicious, climate-friendly, plant-based menus back in 2010.

At this month’s Second Saturday we’ll be talking about…

• Our “Cooking Up Change” volunteering programme, which is calling on 18-21 year olds based in Birmingham who are struggling to find employment to get involved in 30 hours of voluntary work experience! If you might be interested or know of someone who is, then come along and chat to us or send us a message!
• Our Community Fridge. Located in the heart of Balsall Heath, our Community Fridge offers a range of fresh and dried food to the community on a “Take what you need, pay what you can afford basis”
• Plus, we’ll be offering tasters of our banana bread, brownies, carrot cake and orange cake!
